LoL. maybe Andrew can apply. But personally, Id like to see Angel Investigations be a failure. Id even like to see the Hyperion demolished, as a result of the deal they made with W&H and how it played out. Id like to see these 2 vampires hafta start from scratch like theyve done many timews before I really like that idea, it kinda adds to the theme of loss that seems to be running through the season. He's lost his friends, his job and if the hotel for some reason gets demolished he's lost his home... or is that too much?!

if we are going to the theme of lost this season then we should have angel lose everything and then push him over the edge this is an example of how it might turn out Angel stood at the door of a corner store after the last few month of lose gunn ( ) wes, angel Investigation buring to the ground nothing seemed to be working out for him, he enter the corner store and headed streat to the Atm machine to get out some money he sliped his card into the slot and entered his pin big red words on the Atm machine said ATM: account Frozen angel: thats just great alittle pissed he pussed the bottens to get his card back and he waited for it to spit it out and waited and waited nothing happened fed up he went to the breath mint aisle and picked up a pack of orange tic tax he remebered a little back to when TPTB had turned him human , he and buffy had gone out for food suplise and he pick some of these up and like them very much and was hoping that it could somehow pull him out of this mood he headed over to the cashier Angel: your atm machine won't give me back my card Cashier: ok I'll get someone on it in the morning just give me your number so i can call you angel wrote his number down and paid for the tix taxs and left the corner store walking down the street with his tix tax in hand just about to open them not paying much attention to where he was going he crossed the street and triped over a pot hole in the road the tix taxs flying out of his hand bouncing when they hit the road and fell into the sewer getting up onto his knees it started to rain looking up in to the sky he yelled Angel: I give up screw the world and screw good and evil i give up well it might not play out just like that but we can have it that all of this lost has finaly made him crake and just wants to hide in a hole and leave the world to fight for itself

I don't really expect AI to make a comeback, but it could be an excuse to bring in some new recurring characters. I just want to see Illyria's interviewing process. ------------------------------------------
*Close up on an applicant shifting nervously in a chair. *Long silent pause. Applicant: Um, are you going to ask any questions? *Reveal Illyria standing directly over him, not speaking or moving. *Another long silent pause Illyria: I judge you unworthy. Tell the others and admit another specimen.

hehe that would be really funny! I like the idea of maybe a few new characters coming from this. I agree AI is dead but they may find someone out there who can genuinally help them, or just some fool who thinks they can genuinally help Angel but ends up getting in the way. Angel may end up trying to rescue him/her over and over again until they get the hint!

Heres my idea for a sort of standalone episode: Theres this coven of witches that have become super charged with good energy, Much like Willow in Buffy finale. Now they think they are gods or something and are getting busy being aggresivaly good. Reading peoples minds at random and if they find even the smallest sign of evil, like this guy beats his wife or is having an affair- things like that, they kill them. This opens up a possibility for a Willow cameo as shes been through both extremes and knows how to control it; maybe she draws away their power or something, i dont know:)

I would like to see an episode where animals talk. Not quite like Wonderfalls but in the same vein in that as part of the chaos and the "no rules", those whom you think cannot communicate are in fact communicating. And maybe you don't want to hear what they have to say.

Was just thinking, wasn't Hamilton immortal? Don't know if someone has already mentioned that or not, sorry if so, he could be left behind after W&H fell on his own in the world?! Also can we stake Harmony? Please?? hehe

Maybe not on purpose, could be a comic kinda episode showing Harm blundering away as usual.

A return for Harm would be really tough to pull out of our hats right now. There is absolutely no motivation for her character to hang around L.A. or come back. Besides, we need to keep her alive and well for when she teams up with Dru to take out Spike when we do the spin-off. J/K on that last part.

Oooo spin off! Sounds fun! hehe. Harm is stupid enough to hang around LA though, that much is for sure!

First time poster here.
I had an idea. This was for the fanfic series I was writing but that may never happen so I'll write it here. I was watching this programme the other day called "Real Vampires" or "Vampires walk among us" or something like that. It was about these people who dress as vampires. They have fake teeth, they even drink blood with the 'victims' consent. I was thinking maybe Angel could get involved with a group of these people somehow. They follow Angel and find out it ain't so great being a vampire.
I've still to flesh out the details but I was thinking about getting Spike in there as well. I even thought of a little scene.
Vampire Guy (thinking Angel is human): We're a close to real vampires as you're gonna get. Angel: Really. (vamps out) Can you do this?
Go on tell me it's a bad idea. I can take it.

Angel could be investigating a series of vampire murders and it turns out that these guys are responsible and they have no idea that there are real vampire around. They could be trying to become famous or get the story into the news paper but Angel stops them...

How about this. The others are basically, for lack of a better term, peaceful but one of them takes it to far.
I really want to play up the fact they don't know there really are vampires. Otherwise it might be a bit similar to the Buffy episode Lie To Me (remember the club that worships vampires and wants be like them).

Otherwise it might be a bit similar to the Buffy episode Lie To Me (remember the club that worships vampires and wants be like them). I was almost immedietally against this upon reading it but it actually might work well thematically because I think we are going to have - as a part of the Good Apocalypse - that humans will finally understand that there are demons among them. So this would be a good counterpoint to it. Still, we would have to be so very wary of making this like "Lie to Me" and I'm not entirely sure we could distance ourselves from it enough. It might be good to start thinking about other ways to show that people take demons lightly and/or don't know that demons exist.

I think that it could be done, it would be hard though! Just make them completely unaware of vampires and their ideas over how they should be and how they should react to things could be completely different to real life (more like an Anne Rice novel) and when they find out the truth they can freak out or maybe not believe it at all...

I think we need to do a story like this, but not using vampires as the comparisons and similarites to "Lie to Me" are just a problem. Also, I think doing something about a coven of witches is out as Buffy already spoofed that good too in S4. The idea is sold. We just need to find an angle on it.

Hrm, we need ideas about episodes that address the issue of revealing demons among us.
We could start with the people who already make that claim. I'm imagining a passionate church leader preaching to his congregation about the threat of the demons working to corrupt our society and turn us against God. He's speaking in a totally religious sense without any knowledge that the demons or real.
Since the Powers are our antagonists for the season, we'll end up raising questions about faith and defiance of God whether we want to or not. Perhaps we should embrace some christian or religious symbolism or themes. I'm not sure where to take this episode idea yet, but I wanted to throw it out there.
Before I forget, I wanted to say the vamp club idea sounds cool.

Another good idea, Dismas.
If you go back to your Buffy roots, you'll see that the demons take all kinds of form - but mostly the scariest creatures were the real people who became obsessed with something - like the Mayor and Amy's mother (the cheerleader thing) and there are lots of others if I went back and checked - anyway, the point I was trying to make is if the end-all is to reveal the demons and monsters to the public at large, you have to start with demons who look human (Jerry Falwell comes to mind courtesy of the post above) and then move on to the creepy looking ones. The scariest stuff is usually the stuff that should be the most familiar.
