Andrew's mostly comic but we should give him some kind of serious arc. I don't think I want his character to get dark, though, because that's what everyone else does.
This is kind of random but...
What if Andrew tells us Buffy and the others didn't really notice all the stuff Angel did fighting The Apocalypse because they were busy saving the world some other way? It would be like Buffy Season 8 happened, it just wasn't on television. All we find out about it are occasional teasers from Andrew.
Angel could get annoyed and claim his apocalypse was more important because it had a definite article.

however we finnally decide to fit Andrew in, I just hope it makes sense, and doesnt feel forced and is true to everyone. gotta say though, I do like the idea about Giles ordering him to keep a watchful eye, as that plays into what was stated in s5; plus is tottally Giles. maybe interesting to see him (andy) play both sides for a while, eventually realizing him and the fangs are on the same side. I also think the slayer ideas have been done. about Andrew- I think we all agree he needs to be a lil more than just comic relief , plus I think we MOSTLY agree(lemme know if Im wrong) that taking him in the same direction that Wesley went would be kinda cheesy, seeing as though its already been done. but one things for sure- He is gonna have to toughen up, even if its not that much, as the season progresses. So maybe if hes "playing both sides of the fence" so to speak for a bit(even if he isnt thisd still work) and maybe Angel and Spike are also having some distrust issues with him; there should be a standalone. There should be an epsidoe somewhere down the line where Andrew gets to be the hero. Angel and Spike would be in some sorta peril and itd be up to Andrew to save them- in his own geeky way of course Cancer out

Andrew was becoming less geeky there - he's great comic relief but he can also be extremely observant (Storyteller, anyone?) so I would like to see him first as your basic Andrew, and then morph into a much more complex and wise character.
He shouldnt' be a second Wesley, though.

its going to be hard to morph him into anew charater with out him becoming the new Wes we could have him grow up but still (for the most part) act like andrew

The problem with Andrew and Wes is at their cores they were very similar but Andrew has that more self-absorbed approach to everything and is a lot more malleable. Andrew can also be serious without being dark - there is no way that I see him becoming as dark as Wes did. Nope, no way.

I agree, "dark Andrew" is a very, very, very bad idea. I don't think it was every anyone's intent to give him Wes's character arc.

So has anyone decided if we're going to see Eve this season or not?

I believe that around episode 13 she will return for a revenge opportunity and be killed/bugger off for good there.

Cool, just thought she needed closure. The end of season 5 kinda left her story open.
