I dunno. It was kinda cool and creepy and "Silence of the Lambs"-y. But... I think that I am going to go ahead and vote "out".

Um, okay. Just out of curiosity, why don't people like that idea?

One - gore. Too much gore.
Two - difficult to write. Think about it.
Three - it doesn't strike me as a typical demon kind of thing.
Four - did I say 'ewww'?

ummmm.... what she said... My main problem with the idea is the concept of a physical part of the body having a literal connection with an abstract concept. We say that love comes from the heart, but if you replace said heart with an artificial one, or a transplant from another host, it does change your ability to love. Yes, Lindsay did have an "evil hand," but it wasn't technically the hand which was evil but a manifestation of the evil tendencies of the person to whom it was once attached. I like the creep factor in and of itself, but I think if it's to be used, the idea should be cut back a bit, and narrowed to a one- maybe two-episode plot rather than overriding theme. One of the main themes of Angel is that no one with a soul is inately good or evil, we're given a set of circumstances and it's up to us to decide what we make of it. Introducing a major theme that insists that no matter how good a person is, some part of them is incurably evil seems to contradict this notion. Maybe it's just me, but the organ idea just seems to fly in the face of a lot of established cannon, and I personally don't feel like taking back anything the Founding Fathers (and Mothers) have laid down before us. Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

TO be quite frank im not a fan of the stones OR organs thing. I dont now why. I think its because its a bit to easy. Destroy one stone and suddenly a human emotion/attribute disappears from the world.

Personally, I enjoy the idea of someone collecting objects of power as a plotline; mebbe it's just the gamer in me. I dunno, mebbe we could have the stones encased in adamantium or something....

One - gore. Too much gore. Two - difficult to write. Think about it. Four - did I say 'ewww'? Basically sums up my feelings about the skin thing. I dunno about the stone things. I kinda like the idea but like PTB said that might be the gamer in me. Still think that the idea has potential. I don't really think that the organ idea really goes against to much established canon, but you do have some valid points there. The idea that someone is "evil" due to a internal part of him being evil does raise a couple of issues. So I don't think that these "evil organs" could be created in a human... or demon, whatever. My point is that no one could have been born with these organs, they would have to be attached always. So, how could these organs have been created? No idea. I dunno. Just typing random ideas. I really don't know about this whole organ deal.
