Didn't know where else to put thsi, but I just had a thought.
I was watching 'Fredless' and it got me wondering. What about Roger and Trish Burkle? They don't even know there daughter is now nothing more than a shell inhabited by an ancient demon. I know Fred is gonna re-emerge later in the season. It's just what happens when she does? I'm just a little curious is all.

Well at the moment Fred's parents are completly content with their daughter living a glamorous life of the head of the science division at Wolfram and Hart. Since, like you said, Fred will return later on I don't really think there's a reason why this should change. On the other had they might try to check up on Fred when they hear that Wolfram and Hart collapsed.
I dunno. Personally I think it might be stretching it to put them in an episode. It would have to be in the second or third arc, there's really no space for them in the first one. But I may be a bit biased since I've always been a bit bored by Fred's parents (until of course Girl in Question where their showing up lead to some of the best scenes of the fifth season).

Actually, it's doubtful even W&H's collapse would get them back to LA.... do you honestly think their spin doctors would allow such a thing to get into the public eye? HELL no... as far as John Q. Public knows, W&H is alive and well, thank you very much.
Nothing to see here, move along....

All evidence that it ever existed, all documents and deals that surround it, the memories of all excpet a few key players, all of it gone. Like the place never existed.

I think a way to deal with this is to perhaps have Illyria call Fred's parents in a first arc episode. I'm sure Fred talked to her folks a lot so it would be odd if Fred didn't call for awhile. I'd say we should show Illyria (in Fred mode) having a short phone conversation with the Burkles - probably in ep. 6 or 7. It wouldn't work in ep. 5 or in ep. 4 (well, that's up to Joss, but with what we have planned for ep. 5, I'm not sure if it would). So I'd vote ep. 7 probably. It'll be like Fred really starting to come out in Illyria, and it'll justify the shock ending of the episode more too.

You know I wasn't really proposing anything, it was just a question I had. I have others. Maybe should start a question thread. Like are you gonna solve the riddle of where those robots in Lineage came from?

Just to clear things up when I said that we probably shouldn't have them in an episode I meant have the characters be in LA. A phone call like Drew proposes would work out well enough IMO.
I think a while back someone said something about starting a thread here in the scrapbook about little questions and touches like you said, Everlong. We never got around to doing it. I guess we could start one.

I thought I heard somewhere that the cyborgs from Lineage had the symbol for the circle of the black thorn on them. I forget where I heard that. I don't know if that's true because I only saw the ep that once.

Yeah, I'd vote for 7 on this one too, as the story's already stuffed with characters and I really couldn't figure out where to put 'ol Blue in it... having her in her own vignettes would actually work out a little better, PLUS I can have a lot of fun explaining why a "mere" phone call has kept her out of the action

Well, I think she should still be involved with the plot - always nice to have the gang together, but whatever works. Thing is, in ep. 5, we're sort've making a statement about how the gang is so fractured. There really is no team Angel. But by the end of the ep, the mostly come together - except for Andrew, who is worried about his bro. But the ep has a big thing about Illyria putting the past behind her and really finally accepting this new world.
