Okay guys, I was gonna keep this a secret for a while longer, but since we seem to be shaping things pretty wildly here I feel that everyone needs to know what I want at the end of everything.
What I want at the end of this season as a main conflict is this: Buffy returns, and says something like "I´m done, I´m cookies" and they get together and are happy for about two episodes, and then...
I want something to sire Buffy.
At the end of everything I want Buffy as a kind of Angelus, a psycho, messed up ultra vamp. If we have Angelus return, man, best apocalypse ever. I just feel that we need to see Buffy in a different side, a new face. An evil vampiric Buffy seems to be just the thing.
I came to this idea when I thought: What is the single worst thing that could happen to Angel and Co. right now. I thought, what is the only thing that Angel hangs onto? What is the one thing that he believes in? And of course the answer is... Buffy.
So the only thing that makes sense is of course, take her away from him.
And in terms of solution... I want someone to stake her. Not shanshu, not soul, dust.
I just think that it could be something that would allow us to explore something complelty twisted and horrible. Something that goes against everything that a true Angel fan wishes will happen to our hero.
That, was my idea for the ultimate conflict of season 6. I fearfullly await your feedback and/or wrath.

If the series had ended at Season 4 I would be right there with you on that one, but with events of Season 5, I feel they really wrapped up Angel and Buffy and moved the characters forward. I'd be very wary of bringing buffy in at all at this point.
Not saying this can't be done, but a lot of time and energy of the season would need to be spent making it a viable thing to happen in the first place.
I do think there may be a possible confrontation brewing between the two of them considering events of Damage.

I'm not against this idea. But I do feel Angel should get dusted as well. I mean angel can never reeally be happy he'll never forget all the terriblee things he has done in the past. The same as Wes the only happiness he'll ever find will be in death.

How about this, in other threads people have been discussing the return of angelus, what if Buffy gets back, says i'm done, and her and Angel hop into the sack. Angelus turns, then sires buffy. Buffy and Angelus plan some sort of plot to get at spike, then as they are about to attack spike, Angelus dusts buffy, and then says something like "I was never one for competition." We have precedent because he did the same thing with the beast.

Gorilla, sorry to say that your idea doesn´t make a lot of sense man. This is because of two things:
A. If Angelus was gonna dust Buffy anyway then why go thru the trouble of siring her?
B. No competition, but he spent all that time with Darla, Dru, and William the Bloody. And then in Buffy didn´t he join with Spike and Dru?

I got the competition idea from him killing the beast. And the reason he would sire her would be because he's all about the pain, he would love nothing better, than making her believe she would live forever and take out spike and then just pull the rug out from under her.....yeah, your right. I didn't think that part out enough.

At first I didn't like the idea, but I do after thinking about it for a while. She's lived a good long while for a slayer. But.. I do think that she (and Angel) deserve more than a couple eps of happiness. She can be there for a whole season or so - the two of them, fighting together like they used to, before she gets sired. And we already know that there is a supernatural prophilactic to prevent Angelus from surfacing - Cordelia bought a potion to keep from losing her visions.
I think Buffy (or pretty much any slayer) would be a messed up vamp. I wonder if she'd be even more powerful than your typical I-used-to-be-an-accountant-but-now-that-I'm-vamped-I-know-Kung-Fu vampire because of her slayer powers. Or would that just be equaled out since that power came from the essence of the demon and now she would have real demon?
I think Vamp Buffy needs to be around a while to tormet Angel and cause much mischief. Would she go after Dawn? Having intimate knowledge of the Watcher's Council would be dangerous in the hands of a vamp - and she could possibly finish The First's goal. I think this idea is something that can run over multiple seasons.

I'm cool with Buffy becoming a Vamp but I don't think angel should sire her. It has to be someone else. But me personally doesn't think Buffy should be anything more than a special guest. I like to believe her story, for the most part, is over.

this whole buffy thing might work better if buff were already vampified when angel ran into her--she gives him the love and they get all happy and then things start happening and of course he doesn't suspect her...maybe even makes agnel look suspect cuz it's all angelus' signs/habits/such that way, you get the buffy goes bad and psychotic but in the process you make angel feel all crazy plus she would have to attack him in a very personal way--even not dating, they know each other pretty damn well plus, it's a little more realistic--buffy probly should die what with the short slayer life, but this way, you get surprise/suspicion/and agnel doubts himself which he is way more than good at plus, it would put the rest of the team in danger, maybe highlight tensions preexisting amongst them and, you know, she could also play spike--all this talk of angel and buff, but spike fell pretty hard for her...

I agree with Doyle. The whole point of "The Girl in Question" is that Angel and Spike are supposed to move on. Buffy is no longer the only thing Angel hangs onto or believes in. And I think, more than anything, "Not Fade Away" proves that. I would be wary of bringing her back, too. Hey, you know what? Spike needs a new girl!

No. Absolutely not.
Please don't take this personally, but that's an awful idea. Buffy barely belongs on Angel as a Slayer, let alone as some weird, vampirey, fanboy-hybrid.
Bringing Angelus back is a good idea, and the idea of him doing to another girl what he did to Drusilla is fascinating, but - don't make that girl Buffy.

God this sucks, this whole sh*te, I mean site, sucks, are you actually a fan of the 'verse Mr Whedon, not just 'cos of this posting, but your idiocy elsewhere:
The series did not end on a cliffhanger, a true Angel fan would understand that.
Buffy's return was not "easy" the majority of season 6 was dealing with how hard it was.
"The return of the immortal" he was a one shot character, he worked because you didn't see him, we just heard about how bad he was, the majority of people didn't like that episode. Your "they used to be mates and fought some people they thought were gone" idea is almost as bad as this one.
Buffy as a vampire, c'mon, you go on about this great twist you have planned and it turns out to be this sh*t, as you seem to be determined for this to be the direction the season takes I recommend you feck off and leave it to actual Angel fans.
P.S. take that guy who wants to split Angel and Angelus into two with you, once was once too many for that fight.
P.P.S. I recommend you watch two old TV shows, one was called "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and the other was called "Angel", they were pretty darn good.

Easy there man, no need to be so insulting. Oh and by the way you don´t need to have those * things around here, you can swear all you want.
But you do have a point there. I am falling too often back into tried and true ideas and conflict rather than something big and wild. Thanks for pointing it out.

Unexpected tragedies are one of the things that made these shows great, but vamping Buffy seems like you're just trying to piss people off. The premise doesn't fit Buffy's character arc.
The idea of a slayer who is a vampire could be cool in a different context, though. There are plenty of new slayers who could serve the purpose. Introduce a new girl, give her a few episodes to become part of the gang, then kill her and sire her. Slayer strength + vampire strength = ouch.

Yeah, now that there are more slayers, it is conceivable that one could be vamped and could escape the hands of her fellow slayers, who will obviously know that she is missing. Then those other slayers would find out she is a vampire, try to stop her but she eludes them and goes to LA for some reason. The problem with that is it feels more like something that would be an episode of Buffy - if Buffy continued. It can be done, but it seems more likely that this new Slayer would try to go after her ex-co-slayers. And Buffy would deal with that, not Angel. Still, a possibility.

I'm of the opinion we leave the slayers out of this season. I don't see how we could do it without ripping off (1) Faith, (2) Damage, or it just being really lame.

Yeah, i agree. Unless it's just some throwaway scene where the Slayer is involved for all of one minute. There are a lot of them so maybe they'd just bump into one. It would have to be funny. Then again, whatever.
