What might work to keep the secrecy of our stories is to at some point place a password on all of the boards in the pre-production category and only giving the password to those that are already members of our happy little Manson Family. I was thinking of something similar, yeah. I hate that we are having some of the "big" discussion in an "unprotected" environment at this point, but I understand the necessity of it at this point.

Next question - what is the membership of this happy little family?
I probably drive you all bugfuck crazy because I am only online at night. So I would almost totally understand if I"m like a third cousin.

From what I can tell, we are all on at various times, its just the nature of the beast. No way is everyone going to be in the same time-zone or work schedule -just how it is, so don't worry about that.

Doyle- I think thats a great idea. eventually Id like there to be a "staff" so to speak, and Id like to suprise people.
Ive been trying to vent that idea for a week or so now, but ironically couldnt find the words(for the 1st time) to say it correctly.

PuppetCancer out Unfortunately until "Joss" is able to log back on, we can't really set anything up officially as I don't have the ability to create password protected "staff only" boards....so we're stuck like this for the time being.

Hey guys, one quick question:
On the issue of curses should we continue with the WB's policiies of going to "Son of a Bitch" maximum or should we pretend we are an HBO show a la Sopranos and go all out fuck and shit?

Depends...did we change networks? lol.
I think we should keep it like network TV as Angel had no chance in Hell of being picked up by someone like Showtime or HBO.
To have Angel and Spike saying Cunt, fuck, etc. doesnt really ring true as we've never heard them speak that way before.

I think our dialogue will be more creative if we try not to swear. Still, I won't complain if we try to slip something past the censors

There are many moments in both shows where we know a character has sworn but they get cut off or the scene abruptly ends or something like that stops the audience from hearing the expletive. But we still know it was said. That should be as far as we go. In my opinion.

Agreed. What makes those scenes so humerous is that it is out of character and unexpected.

Well, we could always do the swearing in Chinese (just kidding).

Listen Jaxxson, one of the beautiful things about shit like fanfiction is that you don't have to fucking worry about no damn sensors saying "Whoops, you can't say darn on TV"
So no, PLEASE, no censors. We'll keep it in check.

Well now that you two mention it I should probably say that I want to assign a person to be the official "critic". Just someone who is in no way involved in the actual writing (sorry Jaxxson) and just reads the episodes and gives out a review. you know, to make it flahsy and shiny.
So tell me if this is a good idea and we should start auditions or if this is a terrible idea and I need a one-way ticket to an insane asylum.
