We've seen what he's got and I have to say I think he's probably the best writer here. Just my opinion. The way this works is that the staff is outlining the season from the ideas in the forum that everyone is contributing on, then we figure out who is best suited for what episode and ask them to turn in a treatment, then we either okay it and they finish it or we tell them what needs to be changed. When someone is given an episode to write, they get the treatments for all previous episodes to work off of as well as a character bible that is being worked on behind the scenes as well so that they are completely up to speed on what we are doing. No offense, but I'm getting tired of your confrontational attitude on things you don't understand. Ask politely or don't ask at all cause this insulting shit is getting old. LoL well no offense, but Im ALSO getting tired of things seemingly being done in private. noone heres a professional(including you) and ur kinda taking the fun out of it. so if I dont feel like Im being kept in the loop I'll ask away. ok, "boss" ?? ? ;D

No. No one here is a professional. But we are trying to be professional. We think that that will give us the best season. We DO need to have areas that only a few people can access because otherwise all 50 members could just keep throwing out ideas and that is chaos - plain and simple. Now, we are hammering out an outline and you guys will see it and the outline consists of ideas that everyone has presented and that have been approved. But as near as I can tell, this site has only been up for a little over two weeks. Two Weeks! Let's be patient. We're doing great, and we've only been up for two weeks! You will see the outline soon and will most likely not be surprised by it because the ideas in it you have seen before. Now, I'm gonna go ahead and say that I've been assigned the first episode. There's still a lot of work to be done on it. The Alan character will be a part of it and we pretty much know nothing about him right now. So it's hard to go ahead with it right now. So that's why Alan is still being discussed in the Characters section. We've still got a lot to do and we need everyone's help. And there IS stuff that we're doing behind closed web pages but that's just to get stuff moving and to really organize. There are a lot of us and we need to organize.

I just realized I probably broke protocol by putting one of my episode ideas out on that thread instead of submitting it by PM (which by the way I don't know how to do, I'm really pretty virginal at this whole board thing) but now that I have my idea out there, can I get someone to look at it and volunteer to help me write it if it's accepted as an episode? I have ideas but need assistance - like, major assistance - with dialogue.
Begging for a co-writer here ...

I have ideas but need assistance - like, major assistance - with dialogue. Begging for a co-writer here ... Hey LizaP, let me clear up some confusion. The only thing you would need to submit via PM is a script sample (see Writing Submissions thread) so we can get a look at your writing ability and figure out what episode you would be good on. The "single story idea" thread is there to pitch various episodes and let the community brainstorm on them. If we go with an idea posted there then obviously after we get you writing submission, you can request that particular episode. PMing is easy. Look to the left of this text, underneath the picture of Doyle. See the little box? Everyone's got one of those. Just click it and it lets you send a PM to that person. Pretty easy, no? So just write up a script sample -off of the sample scene plot given in the other thread- use the copy and paste function to put it in a a PM to a mod, and we'll take care of the rest. ;D Alternatively, you can send a PM by just going to your PM box by clicking on the "Hey LizaP, you have x number of messages" at the top right of your screen. Once there, you can simply select "new messge" from the top of your inbox and fill in the desired recipients name and message. Hope that helps.

I don't if this was ever mentioned to anyone, but if you go to the Calender section of this site, you can see the schedule for when each episode will be released. Go to Sept. and I think the first is on the 29th.

Isn't that a Wednesday? I thought you'd rather have the traditional Tuesday air date. Oh well.

Well, since we are trying to do a follow-up of season 5 I think it would be better if we follow their schedule and publish on wednesdays.

Sorry I'm from the UK. I always thought Angel aired on a Tuesday (after the story about Joss Whedon sent a rock with Angel Tuesday 9pm inscribed on it after the network exec said the schedule wasn't set in stone). After researching I found the day it aired changed a lot including being Wednesday for season 5. Angel has always aired on a Tuesday over here (and at 9pm as well).

By the way, I'm still working on that submission.
I just have, like, no sense of Connor. It's tough writing him.

Damn good thing you're not judging me on the Connor part of it then ... I'd have to blame it on you share writing credits.

Just to be on the safe side, I went ahead and sent my submission to all three of you ;D
I'm willing to write just about any damn thing you want, but I'll wait until you've had a look at my (admittedly quick) work, and see where you think I'd fit in best.
If at all.

14 tickets? I can do that.
I watched Shiny Happy People last night and was struck how Jasmine referred to the need for balance. It's exactly where we are trying to go this year. If you haven't re-watched that particular episode, it's a great refresher. Or if you didn't tape it, go check out one of the sites that posts the dialogue from the series.
