No. I knew all that except for the part about them being out of town. I thought that it could all work with them being in LA. Didn't we give the official "thumbs up" about the propsed "Oz's werewolf anonymous" meetings? I thought we did and therefore it made more sense to keep Oz and Nina out of town since we didn't want Oz based in L.A. I'm open to whatever though. It made more sense at the time to make it take place out of town, but its definitely open for discussion if we're not all on board with the idea.

And another thing is that if Oz is centered in LA sooner or later fans are gonna start asking where the hell is he and why isn't he helping Angel?

I think I just assumed a bunch of his wolves were going to die and he would leave town because there would be no reason to stay. But I just missed the out of town. Sorry. Back to the Demon Woman.

How about instead of a cop, we go with a P.I.? I think with Angel's past as a "P.I.", it would be fun for him to meet up with "the real deal".
I'm just not a big fan of bringing another police officer into Angel's life.

The cop guy would be in two eps max. This one and "ultimate good".

A PI could work. Althoug I feel that technically PIs are in it more for the money and the standard goody goody person is the cop. I just feel that a cop is a spot-on match for all of this.
And yeah Inyan's right. This guy will apear in two shots, this one and "Ultimate Good"

I think we should eliminate this story idea. We already have Eve coming back and to have two malicious women as villains in less than 2 ACTS apart is a bit redundant and really, what are we trying to say with that?

Again, huge NAY to the elimination of this idea.
It doesn't necesarily have to be a woman. The main point is that it seems to be a demon but turns out to be a human. The woman was just added to make it even more unusual.

Okay, so what we do have is: "grisly murders that we are led to believe were done by a demon but were actually done by a human"?
That episode was called "That Old Gang of Mine".

Well I still vote nay. Let's see what the masses have to say. Everyone that is reading this please vote yay or nay on the deletion of this idea.

I don't know why'd we wan't to rip off an episode from season 3, but let's see what a vote says on the matter.
There seems to be a lot of confusion with the "yay/nay" so maybe it should be changed to "keep/delete" instead.
I vote "Delete."

All right sounds good. I vote keep.... for the present time.
I just want to take a moment to wonder at how well this democracy, where everyone's opinion is appreciated, accepted and important. I love when everyone gets their own say in things.
So in summary: VOTE KEEP OR I WILL BANN YOUR ASS
So democarcy!

I vote "keep", I guess, but with the strong reservation that I don't think this idea is going anywhere and I don't think it is all that original. But I say it deserves a little more time - then we might need to vote again.

I vote Keep, and keep it a woman because a mass murdering woman is a real rarity.
I think once the episode is being written, the cop/PI will fall into place, and all will turn out well.

I think it could still work but with huge reworking. So i vote keep.

if we're going to keep doing the Demon Woman ep I think we need to come up with a better and more original twist for the episode.
And wait, is this demon woman killing other demons or other humans? Or both? Maybe it should be both. Beginning of Act I, the fang gang discovers that the killer (whoever or whatever it is) is killing unfortunate demons. End of Act I, they discover the killer is killing humans and realize the killer (still unknown) is not making any distinctions.
Hmm...still not original enough.

Well, it seems to me that once you remove the "twist" there isn't anything left of the idea, unless your holding on to having a villain that is a human woman, but even there we already have the Eve thing.
I think we have already eliminated ideas with more potential than what is left here.

It has been a while since I've read all of the posts for this idea. I think that there were some other ideas tossed around. I agree with Doyle and Drew, it isn't the prime example of originality, it needs a big revision.
Random thoughts on this episode:
If I remember correctly it was decided that this woman should be killing humans exclusively. It was supposed to be Angel completly convinced that it is a demon and in the end it turns out that it is just someone that is human and really evil, just sadistic. No connections to evil or good, no magic or powers, no connections to the supernatural, just a horrible, horrid person killing other people.

I was under the impression that she was to be killing demons in a horrific manner indicating it was a demone with the "twist" being she was actually a human.
If that is not the case, then I don't have a major problem with it.

No, I think the idea has always been her killing humans because... (see above paragrpah)
